NOTICE OF HEARING

Johannesburg, Tuesday, August 21, 2018 – The Independent Regulatory Board for Auditors (IRBA) hereby gives notice of the recommencement of the hearing into the conduct of the Deloitte auditors responsible for the previous African Bank at the time that the bank failed in 2014.

The disciplinary hearings recommence on 3 September 2018 at the St Georges Hotel in Centurion.

Update: The venue for the African Bank hearing moved back to the IRBA offices from St George’s Hotel.

The full schedule of set down dates are:

 

September 3 and 4 September
October 25, 26, 27, 29 and 31 October
November 1, 2, 3, 4, 8 and 9 November
December 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 10 and 11 December
