Issue 54 | April-June 2021 15 ANNUAL RENEWALS As at the end of the previous financial year, 68 RAs were lapsed for the non-payment of annual renewal fees, while the registration of 44 RAs was cancelled for the non-submission of Individual Annual Returns. The 2021/2022 annual renewal process is underway, having commenced on 1 April 2021. The due date for the payment of annual fees and the submission of Individual Annual Returns was 31 May 2021. In line with Section 39(5) of the APA, the IRBA will now commence with the process of lapsing RAs for the non-payment of annual fees. Therefore, we urge all RAs who have not yet paid their annual renewal fees to do so, in a bid to avoid the lapsing of their registration.
